Love this place. I have been many times and the food is great. Honestly everything I have ordered has been fantastic. But I want to shout give thanks to the crew. I left my purse there last night and they had it set aside and I got it back! We will be back.
Expect a long wait (no reservations) for a Friday night dinner for outdoor patio of 4. We probably waited for an hour? Friendly waitress. Food came out fast. I enjoyed my Bleu Cheese Burger (medium) with garlic and sage fries. The garlic was fried whole cloves. I would order my burger again.
Wonderful menu with some unique items on it. We had the Black Duck pizza with duck and arugula and goat cheese. Just right. The stacked salad was great as well with ribs.
Located in Gilman village with lots of parking. 21+ throughout the entire restaurant. Quite busy for lunch during a weekday but was seated promptly. Indoor and outdoor seating with heat and a blanket available. Large beer selection! We ordered the special pie which was delicious and their signature duck confit.
Our favorites were the fried cheese curds (comes with spicy red pepper honey & berry compote sauces), The Goat, and cookie with ice cream. The patio has heaters, so we felt comfortable outside.
The tap selections are phenomenal. Stout from Kilkenny, Ireland. Pilsner from Germany. Excellent local craft beers, the 1/2 pound hand-pressed burgers, garlic fries, giant onion rings and duck poutine all top the charts as the best pub in Issaquah!
The food is great. The duck poutine is great savory dish. Many miss the pork belly on the burger; looking forward to when it's welcomed back. Great selection of whiskeys.
Our visit to The Black Duck Cask and Bottle in Issaquah was nothing short of fantastic! We indulged in a variety of dishes, starting with the duck poutine, which was rich, savory, and perfectly indulgent. The wings were crispy and flavorful, offering just the right amount of heat. Both the Old Fashioned Burger and the Black n Bleu Burger were standouts--juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Each bite was bursting with flavor, making it hard to pick a favorite. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, with a relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for everything from a casual meal to a more special occasion. The service was outstanding; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed for a great meal. Whether you're a fan of classic comfort food with a gourmet twist or just looking for a place with a great atmosphere, The Black Duck Cask and Bottle is a must-visit. We'll definitely be coming back for more
Ohhhhhhh.....myyyyyyy.....goooooooodnessss This place is on a whole different level. Step 1...expect to wait 15-30 minutes for a table. If you can't wait...go somewhere else. If you're willing to wait for amazing food and drink...you've got your place. Step 2...drinks. Order a good drink from the bar that's recommended by the bartender, or ask for a flight of beers recommended by the waitress. I did the flight. My waitress recommended I get all of the IPA beers on the menu plus the Pilsner they were featuring. It was amazing. Step 3...food. The whole menu rocks. You can't go wrong with a burger and fries. The salads and wings are also very good. This is the kind of place I would go out of my way to eat at. A group of 4 will easily spend $125 for dinner (including drinks/meal/tax/tip). None of us had room for dessert, so I couldn't tell you about that. I can't wait to go back!
